Help Guide & Terms of Use
How to Use NoteNest
- Getting Started: Create your account securely using Firebase Google Authentication. You will be asked to grant permission for the Google Drive
appDataFolder—this is required so the app can automatically back up your notes to a hidden, secure folder in your Drive. - Creating Notes: Tap the + icon on the home screen to create a new note. You can edit with rich text formatting, add custom backgrounds to individual notes, and schedule exact alarms to remind you of important tasks.
- Organization: Keep things tidy by adding custom labels directly from the home screen drawer. You can also Archive old notes to hide them from the main view, or Delete them (deleted notes stay in the trash bin for 7 days before permanent removal).
- AI Features: To use the AI writing assistant, navigate to Settings and enter your personal Google Gemini API key. Once added, you can use the magic wand icon inside any note to fix grammar, change the tone, or rewrite your text instantly.
